What are the types of sensors

1、By use

Pressure-sensitive and force-sensitive sensors, position sensors, liquid level sensors, energy consumption sensors, speed sensors, acceleration sensors, radiation sensors, thermal sensors.

2、By principle

Vibration sensors, moisture-sensitive sensors, magnetic sensors, gas-sensitive sensors, vacuum sensors, bio-sensors, etc.

3according to its manufacturing process

Integrated sensors are manufactured with standard process technology for producing silicon-based semiconductor integrated circuits. Usually also used for the initial processing of the measured signal part of the circuit is also integrated in the same chip.

Thin-film sensors are formed by depositing a thin film of the corresponding sensitive material on a dielectric substrate (substrate). When using a hybrid process, part of the circuitry can also be manufactured on this substrate.

Thick film sensors are made using a paste of the corresponding material, coated on a ceramic substrate, and then heat treated to form the thick film.

Ceramic sensors are produced using the standard ceramic process or some variant thereof (sol-gel, gel, etc.).

4、By measuring purpose

Physical sensors are made by using the characteristics of some physical properties of the measured substance to change significantly.

Chemical sensors are used to convert the composition of chemical substances, concentrations and other chemical quantities into electrical quantities made of sensitive components.

Biological sensors are made by using the characteristics of various biological or biological substances to detect and identify the chemical composition of biological sensors.

5、By composition

Basic sensor: is a basic single conversion device.

Combination sensor: is a combination of different single transformation device and the composition of the sensor.

Application-type sensors: is the basic sensor or combination of sensors and other institutions and the combination of sensors.

6 according to the role of the form

According to the role of the form can be divided into active and passive sensors.

Active sensors also have the role of the type and counter-action type, such sensors to the object to be measured can issue a certain detection signal, can detect changes in the object to be measured, or by the detection signal in the object to be measured to produce some effect and the formation of the signal. Detection of changes in the detection signal is called the role of the type, the detection of the response and the formation of the signal is called the counteraction type. Radar and radio frequency range detectors are examples of the active type, while photoacoustic effect analyzers and laser analyzers are examples of the reactive type.

Passive type sensors only receive the signal generated by the object to be measured itself, such as infrared radiation thermometer, infrared camera device, etc.
